The message retention setting is configured by the company that sent you the email message. A company will typically set the message expiration period to between 7 days and 60 days. Once a secure message has expired, it is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered by ZixCorp. If you need a copy of an expired message, please contact the original sender and request that they resend the information.
